Honors English 12 (April 8, 2008)

In Class:

We discussed A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift on pages 502-508 in your textbooks.

We also took a quiz on the essay/ proposal worth 10 pts. See me for make-ups ASAP!

Assignment:
You need to be reading your work (i.e. novel, short story, essay, or poem) for your research paper critique. If you have finished you work, you need to begin researching information on your opinion/ ideas, and thesis as well as brainstorming the best way to begin your writing. We established, today, that we would be peer-reviewing on May 1-2, 2008. You must have your Rough Draft (at least three pages) on May 1, 2008 for 25 pts (which is half of the point total attributed to your rough draft in the end). See me for any questions.

Also, don't forget that your Restoration Ideals (on Defoe and An Inconvenient Truth) journal reflections are due on April 14, 2008.
