Reading/ Discussion/ Overview of The Seafarer
IMAGERY EXERCISE:
Choose two-five consecutive lines in the elegy that have created a vivid picture in your mind. Write those lines on a sheet of paper and illustrate the lines creatively. This is not an exercise based upon drawing abilities, but rather an activity that tests your creativity and brain power.
PS. I like stick figures, that's fine...just be creative!
EXAMPLE:
This tale is true, and mine. It tells
How the sea took me, swept me back
And forth in sorrow and fear and pain,
Showed me suffering...
