How has September 11, 2001 affected your life? I want you to think of your initial reaction six years ago, versus your reaction to the incident today. Also, reflect upon what the United States has done to combat this terribly tragedy. Since we are discussing the heroic ideal, are our civilian victims heroes? Are the people fighting for our country heroes? What are your views? If it helps, think of the various reactions you witnessed on the documentary America Talks.
